BONITA SPRINGS, Florida — Aerox Aerospace Group, the parent company of aviation oxygen companies Aerox Aviation Oxygen Systems and Aerox Fluid Power, has acquired Omnigas Systems, a provider of aftermarket services for aerospace oxygen and fire suppression systems that caters to commercial aviation, business aviation, and military customers.
With the acquisition, the company expands its reach in the global aerospace industry, company officials said.
They note that Aerox specializes in oxygen systems for airframe manufacturers, air medical interiors manufacturers, and other oxygen system integrators. The addition of Omnigas will allow the company to offer a wider range of oxygen system brands beyond Aerox systems.
“Omnigas Systems brings robust capabilities in both oxygen components and fire suppression systems service and repair, as well as hydrostatic testing,” said Scott E. Ashton, president and CEO of Aerox.
Omnigas Systems, which will continue to operate independently, is being renamed Aerox Omnigas MRO.
