AFRAA welcomes Skyward Airlines as the newest member to the Association.

Mr Abderahmane Berthé –AFRAA Secretary General paid a courtesy visit to Skyward Airlines headoffice in Nairobi where he met the Chairman – Capt. Mohammed Abdi and General Manager – Ms Diana Nyambura to present the membership certificate. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the industry developments in the region, Skyward Airlines’ vision and plans and how these can be better realized through AFRAA membership.

Skyward Airlines is a prominent private airline operating in Kenya, established in 2013. With its main hub at Wilson Airport in Nairobi‚ Skyward Express connects major cities and remote destinations across Kenya and one destination in East Africa‚ playing a vital role in enhancing regional connectivity. Skyward Airlines serves 11 destinations, from its two operations bases at Wilson Airport for passengers and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for cargo. The airline is planning to extend its network across the larger eastern African region.
