– The Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Committee of the China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU), Amb. Wang Shifting, says global peace and development face serious multipurpose challenges and unrest due to complex national and regional conflict, while urging countries to uphold and adhere to principals and treaties of international fairness and Justice.
Delivering a welcoming statement at the China Foreign Affairs University day-long seminar focusing on Building China-Africa Community with a shared future held in Beijing, China in the University conference hall, the CFAU President disclosed that the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind with the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Xinping, provides China approach for countries to combat global challenges and jointly feel a better world in receiving more recognition and support by countries, especially African countries.
He emphatically states that with more companies or countries together, they can surly move on the new journey on building a community with a shared future, because building a community with a shared future is China’s future and modernization is what it takes to turn dream into reality, while informing the gathering that China and Africa have spent over ten years in building this community and China will remain at the forefront to fostering modernization.
“Currently, with the complex and revenging situation, the national situation and persistent regional conflict, peace and development are facing multiple challenges and unrest. The past eighty decades have witnessed humanity on the journey to rebuild on the arches of war and proxy peaceful development, as well as the fifteen Europe evolution of the international order on deepening global cooperation. Looking ahead, we hope that all countries will draw lessons history of World War II, challenges, peace, and jointly uphold International Fairness and Justice,” Amb. Wang urged.
On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) held a day-long seminar for diplomats, especially African diplomats, emerging diplomatic, and heads of diplomatic academies of China and Africa on the theme: “Building China-Africa community with a shared future.”
The seminar focused on two key issues, mainly: building a stronger China-Africa community with a shared future, a community with a share future for mankind and young diplomatic training. This is also in celebration of the eighty anniversary celebration of the end of War-War II, and twenty-five years of the funding of China-Africa cooperation. Furthermore, the gathering seeks to implement outcomes of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation 2024 Beijing summit.
Ambassador Wang, however, expressed appreciation and gratitude to the participants, while welcoming them, adding that last year September, the Beijing Summit on China-Africa Cooperation was successfully held with strategic outcomes on modernization, strengthening China-Africa Community with a shared future and developed a road map for the cooperation for the next three years.
