Air Astana has announced that it will launch direct flight services from Almaty International Airport (ALA) to Da Nang International Airport (DAD) in Vietnam.
The twice-weekly flights will be operated using the carrier’s Airbus A321LR fleet and are scheduled to commence on June 4, 2025.

The launch of the new Da Nang route will increase the number of Air Astana scheduled flights to Vietnam to nine, with existing operations including four flights a week between Almaty and Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) in Nha Trang, plus three flights per week between Astana’s Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (NQZ) and Nha Trang.
Additionally, the seasonal route from Almaty and Astana to Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC) will continue to operate until March 31, 2025.
The new service to Da Nang, which has a flight time of seven hours and 10 minutes, will operate on the following schedule:
KC599 departing Almaty at 00:55 local time, arriving in Da Nang at 10:05 local time
KC600 departing Da Nang at 11:45 local time, arriving in Almaty 17:00 local time
Da Nang is the largest city in central Vietnam and one of the country’s most important ports. It is renowned for its pristine white-sand beaches, ancient pagodas and caves with Buddhist shrines.
Due to a bilateral agreement, Kazakh citizens can stay in Vietnam visa-free for up to 30 days.
