Officials with Alpha Wingman report that beta testing has ended for the company’s new workforce management platform, Alpha Workforce.
Once AOG technicians download the new app, they are linked to a dispatch center via a moving map displaying technician status (working, available, off-duty, etc.), explained officials with the company, which offers aircraft owners a variety of services, such as AOG, scheduled aircraft maintenance, parts, FBO services, and more.
The app was tested for a year with Bombardier’s AOG team, noted Andy Nixon, president of Alpha Wingman.
Alpha Workforce came about after customers told company officials that mobile technicians “lacked an efficient way to see and receive updates from their team,” he added.
