Christmas came early on Prime Video. The retail giant is gifting Prime subscribers discounts of to 75% off on several of their Prime Video channels, such as Paramount+ and Starz, for the holidays. The limited-time deals run from Dec. 22, 2024 through Jan. 2, 2025 — a total of 12 days.
Right now, Paramount+ With Showtime is more than 83% off for the first two months, bringing down its price from $11.99/month to $1.99/month. On Paramount+, you can stream hundreds of new such as “”Transformers One,” “Mean Girls” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” in addition to popular shows such as “The Chi,” “The Curse,” “Yellowjackets” and “Billions.”
But it doesn’t stop there. MGM+ and Starz are also down to $1.99/month off for the first two months, an even deeper discount than they saw on Prime Day or Black Friday. MGM+ boasts some of the buzziest films of the year such as “Smile 2” and “Blink Twice,” in addition to dozens of classics like “Carrie” and “12 Angry Men.” Starz meanwhile has popular shows like “Outlander” and holiday hits like “Violent Night” and “The Night Before.”
AMC+, meanwhile, is the only place to stream all seven seasons of “Mad Men,” has a dedicated network for “The Walking Dead” and also has exclusive streaming rights to “Killing Eve” until it eventually hits Hulu.
More Black Friday streaming deals on Prime Video? For the first two months, Crunchyroll, Hallmark+, PBS, BBC Select and more are all down to $1.99/month — the lowest prices we’ve seen for these add-on channels all year, including Prime Day.
Normally, add-on subscriptions prices vary depending on the channel, ranging in price from $6.99/month to $10.99/month. This is in addition to an Amazon Prime membership, which in the U.S costs $139 per year (or $14.99 per month). Normally, nearly all the channels offer a 7-day free trial so you always can test out a platform’s entertainment options before committing to the monthly fee.
