Cebu Pacific lights up Dubai’s Burj Khalifa

Cebu Pacific (CEB) took over Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, lighting up the world’s tallest building with a projection show titled, “Fly to Happy, Fly to the Philippines”.

The event makes the low-cost carrier the first Philippine company to project a campaign onto the 828-meter building.

“We’re proud to share a piece of home on such a grand stage,” Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer. “This is a celebration of Philippine pride and an invitation for travelers to connect with the unique beauty, culture and warmth that our country offers.”

The campaign aims to invite travelers around the world to fly to the Philippines, and offer Filipinos living and working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a nostalgic view of home.

The light display showcased the natural beauty of the Philippines, including the world-famous beaches of Boracay, Palawan and Cebu as well as breathtaking sites like Mayon Volcano in Legazpi, the Chocolate Hills in Bohol and Mt. Apo in Davao.

To bring this experience within reach to more passengers, the carrier also launched a special seat sale from November 22 to 30, 2024. Passengers from major international hubs, including Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), South Korea’s Incheon Airport (ICN), Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD), and Dubai International Airport (DXB), can now book discounted flights to the Philippines for travel in early 2025.

CEB operates in more than 60 destinations spanning Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
