Charlamagne Tha God 2025 Black Effect Podcast Festival Date, Tickets

Radio host, podcaster and entrepreneur Charlamagne Tha God and iHeartMedia announced the third annual Black Effect Podcast Festival, including featured speakers at the event aimed at aspiring podcasters in the Black community.

The event is set for Saturday, April 26, from 12-8 p.m. ET at Pullman Yards in Atlanta. Charlamagne Tha God will join the festival alongside some of the Black Effect’s most popular hosts for a day of live podcast tapings and discussions.

The 2025 festival will be hosted by Mandii B and WeezyWTF, the duo behind the Black Effect Podcast Network show “Decisions, Decisions.” Also appearing will be hosts of podcasts including “Woman Evolve” (Sarah Jakes Roberts), “Good Moms, Bad Choices” (Jamilah Mapp and Erica Dickerson), “R&B Money,” “Naked Sports With Cari Champion” and “The Trap Nerds.” Panel discussions during the event are slated to include “Adapting to Trends: The Future of Podcasting.”

Last year’s sold-out show was also held at Atlanta’s Pullman Yards, after the inaugural festival in 2022 in Brooklyn.

“We’re excited to return to Atlanta, building on the incredible momentum of the podcast industry and the growing impact of Black creators in the space,” Charlamagne Tha God said in a statement. “As the influence of Black voices continues to shape culture and drive conversations, The Black Effect remains committed to powerful storytelling, meaningful brand collaborations and unforgettable live experiences. This year, we’re celebrating not just where we’ve been — we’re embracing the limitless future of Black podcasting and the influence it holds.”

Tickets for the 2025 Black Effect Podcast Festival will go on sale Wednesday (Feb. 26). More info on ticket pricing and the event’s lineup are available at this link. Sponsors including AT&T and Nissan will be on-site at the 2025 event with activations including the Pitch Your Podcast booth. Other activities are scheduled to include a pop-up marketplace showcasing merchandise from Black-owned businesses, a photo booth, and one-on-one mentoring sessions with iHeartMedia execs.

The Black Effect Podcast Network was launched in September 2020, under a partnership between Charlamagne and iHeartMedia. The brand is anchored by his own syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club.” The Black Effect Podcast Network has since debuted 47 shows, curated by Charlamagne Tha God, around social justice, pop culture, sports, mental health, news, comedy and more.
