Chris Rock and Adam Sandler to Perform at Night of Too Many Stars

Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Amy Schumer and more are set to perform at Next for Autism‘s Night of Too Many Stars comedy event on Monday, March 31 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” is returning to host the event, with additional performers including Ronny Chieng, Alex Edelman, Susie Essman, Jim Gaffigan, Sarah Sherman, Max Weinberg’s Jukebox, James Austin Johnson and Sam Morril. The event will include a live auction to support initiatives for autistic adults.

“We created Night of Too Many Stars with our friends in the comedy world at a time when most organizations focused only on research for a cure,” event creators Michelle and Robert Smigel said in a statement. “Seeing so many parents struggle to find appropriate services and schools for their children inspired us to create an event to support the vital programs and services that individuals with autism need right now.”

The Night of Too Many Stars event was created by Michelle and Robert Smigel in 2003 after struggling to find effective education for their autistic son. To date, Next for Autism has funded over 380 projects from 170 organizations in over 35 states and territories around the country. The organization is dedicated to helping the 5.4 million autistic adults living in the U.S. achieve their dreams.

The event committee includes Tommy Hilfiger, Laura Slatkin, Harry Slatkin, Lucia Smigel, Michelle Smigel, Robert Smigel, Jackie Sandler, Adam Sandler, Tracey Stewart and Jon Stewart. Tickets are available to purchase online.
