Donna Langley, and Paris Hilton are set to speak at the second annual CNBC Changemakers summit highlighting female business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Led by Julia Boorstin, CNBC’s senior media and tech correspondent, the summit is part of CNBC’s Changemakers initiative to spotlight women who are making a mark in business. CNBC today released its 2025 CNBC Changemaker list highlighting 50 women at companies or philanthropic organizations that have “crossed meaningful financial milestones and achieved significant business results within the past year,” per CNBC.
The Changemakers Summit will be held April 8 in Los Angeles. Confirmed speakers include NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios chairman Langley, 11:11 Media founder and CEO Hilton, TIAA’s CEO of retirement solutions Kourtney Gibson, Frida founder and CEO Chelsea Hirschhorn, Lumen co-founder and inventors Merav Mor and Michal Mor and Guild CEO Bijal Shah.
“We’re excited to unveil the second annual CNBC Changemakers list today and are gearing up for the 2025 Changemakers Summit this April in a new location – my hometown of Los Angeles,” Boorstin said. “We have some impressive leaders from this year’s list lined up to speak where we will go beyond these women’s accomplishments, to dive into how they approach problem solving, their strategies for navigating uncertainty, and what they see ahead. In such an uncertain economic moment, these conversations are more powerful than ever.”
Last year’s speakers included former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, dancer Misty Copeland, Amalgamated Bank CEO Priscilla Sims Brown, and WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert.
Boorstin is the best-selling author of 2022’s “When Women Lead,” which examines how female leadership styles effect how businesses operate.
