eight hours of Red Light Radio shows – Africanhiphop

While the #Africaishot sound is rooted in hip hop, we also play Afro house, kwaito, dancehall, afrobeat and more, inspired by the eclectic vision of the original hip hop deejays such as Afrika Bambaataa. In this update we attempt to deal with a backlog of months in uploading the Africa Is Hot shows playlists, so check out these eight hours of Afro tunes from September to January. Stay tuned for more as we still have the February through April show playlists as well.

UPDATE May 6, 2015: Red Light Radio moved all their shows and playlists to Mixcloud. Listen to the latest shows in this playlist:

Stay tuned for more playlist updates, and when you’re done here tune in to African Hip Hop Radio 24/7 (launch in popup) which we’ll be supplying with fresh tunes daily from now on.
