Embraer has announced that it achieved a 14% increase in aircraft deliveries in 2024 when compared to the previous year, with commercial aircraft outperforming private jets.
The Brazilian planemaker confirmed on January 7, 2025, that 206 aircraft were delivered in the full year of 2024, measured against 181 in 2023.
Individually, commercial aircraft increased by 14% with 73 planes delivered compared to 64 in 2023, and private jet deliveries rose by 13% from 115 the previous year to 130 in 2024.
Embraer originally hoped to deliver between 72 and 80 aircraft in 2024, but this was later revised to between 70 and 73 planes. The original guidance for private jet deliveries in 2024 was placed at between 125 and 135.
Notably, deliveries of Embraer’s E190-E2 increased from one in 2023 to eight in 2024, mainly thanks to low-cost carrier Scoot receiving five of the aircraft type.
