Embraer is continuing its active pursuit of industrial cooperation plans outside of Brazil.
On April 1, 2025, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ-Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii), Turkey’s state-owned aerospace company, to cooperate in the industrial and research domains.
The initiative could potentially involve the building of an assembly line for Embraer’s E2 family of commercial airliners in Turkey.
The agreement between the two aerospace companies was signed during the LAAD Defence & Security 2025 trade show in Rio de Janeiro in the presence of senior representatives from the Turkish and Brazilian governments.
The agreement is not the only high-level international cooperation initiative to be unveiled by Embraer so far this year. Poland is another country that features highly in the plans of the Brazilian aerospace firm.
On March 11, 2025, Francisco Gomes Neto, Embraer’s President and CEO, visited Poland to reaffirm the company’s interest in strengthening ties with Polish suppliers and customers. The opportunities for industrial cooperation between Embraer and Polish organizations are manifold and could even include a final assembly line for the C-390 multi-role transport aircraft, which Embraer is pitching to the Polish Air Force.
Other projects involve the sourcing of components in Poland and the establishment of a service center in the country for the E2 airliner program, as well as research and development projects in cooperation with the Łukasiewicz Institute of Aviation (iLOT), which is Poland’s aerospace research institute of reference.
