Emirates unveils more cities to be flown by retrofitted B777


Emirates has announced more destinations in its network that will be served by its fleet of retrofitted Boeing B777 aircraft with upgraded cabins.

According to the airline, a new refurbished B777 is rolled out every three weeks. By September 2025, Emirates plans to serve 44 cities with its fleet of renewed Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft. 

The following cities are the latest to be flown by the B777 with upgraded cabin interiors:

Lisbon Airport (LIS) starting June 1, 2025

Dublin Airport (DUB) starting June 25, 2025

Hong Kong International Airport starting July 15, 2025

Male International Airport (MLE) from July 15, 2025

Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) starting August 10, 2025

Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) from August 10, 2025

Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport  (JNB) from September 1, 2025

Cape Town International Airport (CPT) from September 20, 2025

Additionally, London Stansted Airport (STD) will receive its second daily service with refreshed Boeing 777s.

Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777 features a four-class configuration: 8 First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats in 1-2-1 configuration, 24 Premium Economy seats and 256 Economy seats.
