Infinite Flight, a multiplayer mobile flight simulator, has added an autopilot feature, designed to help when life gets in the way.
Called AutoPilot+, the new feature gives flight sim enthusiasts the ability to start a flight without worrying if you can finish it.
“Whether you’re pulled away unexpectedly or simply can’t stay online for the entire flight, AutoPilot+ steps in to keep your aircraft safely flying so you can pick up where you left off,” company officials explain.
The simulated flight is paused with 30 minutes to go and is kept available for 48 hours.
“In the meantime, you can switch devices or even start another flight or ATC session,” officials added. “Your flight will continue on safely, provided all of the criteria for AP+ have been met.”
The new release, 25.1, also includes changes to the flight planning ecosystem, including new ways to change the time and date, weather, and airport selection.
The airport selection now shows ATC and runway information, which will pave the way for more flight-planning tools down the road, company officials added.
