More than 3,000 attendees and 70 exhibitors are expected at FlightSimExpo 2025, slated for June 27-29 in Providence, Rhode Island.
The sixth annual FlightSimExpo “celebrates the role home flight simulation plays in pilot training, aviation proficiency, and aircraft design,” according to organizers.
The 2025 expo features three stages with content from developers, content creators, pilots, aeronautical engineers, Twitch and YouTube streamers, and more, organizers noted.
The show will feature a variety of speakers, including pilots, flight instructors, aircraft engineers, and simulator experts giving talks designed to help pilots understand how this technology can benefit their training. There’s also a free tour of the show floor that will point out the best resources to get started, organizers said.
FlightSimExpo participants also get access to hands-on workshops and interactive demos of cockpit building, aircraft and scenery design, interaction with online ATC, and more, according to organizers.
New this year is Patriot Aircraft bringing its Super Patriot to the show for display in the exhibit hall. Next to it will be a flight sim setup showcasing the virtual Super Patriot in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, created by flight sim developer Parallel 42.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our first real-world aircraft manufacturer to FlightSimExpo,” said Evan Reiter, show organizer and an airline pilot who also uses home flight simulators. “Since the creation of the show, we’ve been working to close the gap between simulation and real-world flying. Having both the real and Microsoft Flight Simulator versions of the Super Patriot at the event represents a milestone achievement for this effort, and we’re very thankful to both Parallel 42 and Patriot Aircraft for making it possible.”
Tickets are still available for the event, which will held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.
