GoJet Airlines jet skids off icy taxiway at Lambert Airport

GoJet Airlines Flight 4427, with 27 passengers on board, including the crew, slid off an icy taxiway after landing at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) in Missouri.

As reported by WSAZ News, a United regional jet operated by GoJet Airlines, took off from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and landed at Lambert Airport at around 10:50 local time.

After landing on Lambert Runway 11-29, the aircraft moved onto a grassy area from the taxiway. GoJet Airlines confirmed that there were no injuries to the 27 people on board, and emergency crews met the aircraft.

“GoJet Airlines flight 4427 slid off the taxiway before coming to a stop,” a spokesperson for the airline said in a statement seen by WSAZ News. “All passengers were safely transported to the terminal.”

Airport officials have not provided additional information about the incident. Data from the National Weather Service indicated that a storm may have caused poor visibility due to a mix of snow and freezing rain showers in the area on the night of February 12, 2025.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it will investigate the incident.
