‘Good Daughter’ Peacock Series Casts Olivia Williams, Michael Dorman

“The Good Daughter” limited series adaptation at Peacock has added four new series regulars, Variety has learned.

Olivia Williams (“Dune: Prophecy,” “The Father”), Michael Dorman (“Joe Pickett,” “Patriot”), Audrey Grace Marshall (“The Flight Attendant,” “The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder”), and Drew Cheek have all joined the series, which is based on the Karin Slaughter novel of the same name.

They will star alongside previously announced cast members Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy, Brendan Gleeson, and Harper Steele. Paula Malcomson and Jake McDorman are also set to appear in the series.

The official description for the series states:

“‘The Good Daughter’ is a suspenseful crime drama where sisters Charlotte (Fahy) and Samantha (Byrne) Quinn have spent the last twenty-eight years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence. When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte is the first witness on the scene. Now a lawyer like her father, she’s forced to confront her own demons as the case twists through one shocking revelation after another. In the end, both she and Samantha find themselves wondering if the price of being the good daughter was worth it after all.”

Williams will play Harriet “Gamma” Quinn. Dorman will play Ben. Marshall will play young Sam, and Cheek will play young Charlie.

Williams is repped by Independent Talent Group and CAA. Dorman is repped by Verve, Entertainment 360, and Nathan Culliver Management. Marshall is repped by Paradigm, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Yorn Levine Barnes. Cheek is repped by Evolve Artists Agency.

Slaughter is adapting her book for the screen and will also serve as executive producer on “The Good Daughter.” Byrne will executive produce in addition to starring. Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Casey Haver will executive produce for Made Up Stories. Steph Green is directing all episodes and executive produces. Made Up Stories is producing in partnership with Fifth Season, which is also handling international distribution.
