The second season of Apple TV+’s psychological thriller “Surface” has a new trailer for its eight-episode season, teasing Sophie’s (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) ambitious venture to London.
The new chapter of the show follows Sophie as she is forced to unravel the secrets of her past with an injury that has wiped her memories clean. She embeds herself in royal British society but everything changes when a journalist unexpectedly reaches out to her about a new scandal.
Mbatha-Raw returns alongside co-stars Oliver Jackson-Cohen (“The Invisible Man”) and Millie Brady (“The Queen’s Gambit”). New additions to the “Surface” world include Phil Dunster (“Ted Lasso”), Gavin Drea (“Daisy Jones & The Six”), Rupert Graves (“Maurice”), Tara Fitzgerald (“Sirens”), Nina Sosanya (“Baby Reindeer”), Joely Richardson (“101 Dalmatians”) and Freida Pinto (“Slumdog Millionaire”).

For fans of medical procedurals, the official trailer for “Berlin ER” takes the long-established genre to Berlin.
Set in the country’s most overcrowded hotel, a young Dr. Parker (Haley Louise Jones) is looking to kick off her life in the big city after problems in her personal life back in Munich. Dr. Parker must learn to work together with the underpaid and exhausted staff around her to do their jobs and save lives. The cast includes Slavko Popadić (“Crooks”), Aram Tafreshian (“Dogs of Berlin”), Samirah Breuer (“The Gryphon”) and Benjamin Radjaipour (“No Hard Feelings”).
“Berlin ER” premieres with the first two episodes on Apple TV+ starting Feb. 26 before dropping weekly episodes. Watch the trailer below.

The new animated show “Goldie” has released an official trailer, telling the story of a giant girl with a big heart.
Inspired by Emily Brundige’s award-winning 2019 short, “Goldie” follows a girl who sets off on giant adventures with her best friends, learning to embrace their differences within the world. The voice cast includes Jessica McKenna (“The Mighty Ones”), Dee Bradley Baker (“Phineas & Ferb”) and Amari McCoy (“Spidey and His Amazing Friends”) along with guest stars Henry Winkler, Al Yankovic, Nicole Byer, Cree Summer, Carlos Alazraqui, Maulik Pancholy and Maria Bamford.
The show premieres on Feb. 14 with all 13 half-hour episodes available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+. Watch the trailer below.
PROGRAMMING
The Women’s Sports Network will broadcast Oregon State University’s remaining gymnastics home meets.
The live broadcasts are subscription-free and include four more of the upcoming 2025 season home meets, spanning Feb. 7 to March. 21. Pac-12 Enterprises produces the home meets.

DATES
Season 4 of “The Cleaning Lady” and Season 3 of “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” will both premiere on March 25, kicking off Fox’s Tuesday night drama programming.
“The Cleaning Lady” returns in the 8-9 p.m. ET/PT slot and follows Thony (Élodie Yung) as she trades her cleaning lady uniform for surgical intern scrubs at a community hospital. However, to make this switch happen, she must continue working with the Sin Cara cartel as a mob doctor. The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment with Daniel Cerone serving as showrunner and executive producer.
“Alert: Missing Persons Unit” brings the procedural drama back from 9-10 p.m. ET/PT for more life-or-death searches. Officers Jason Grant (Scott Caan) and Nikki Batista (Dania Ramirez), who were once married and bring deep personal connections to these cases, head the team and help people reunite with their loved ones. The show is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment.
CASTING
Adrian Lester (“The Sandman”), Artjom Gilz (“Tar”), Nicholas Podany (“Saturday Night”), Petro Ninovskyi (“Silence”) and Vic Michaelis (“Very Important People”) have all been confirmed as series regulars for the upcoming Peacock thriller series “Ponies.”
These five actors join previously announced stars Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson in the Moscow-set show from Emmy Award-nominated director Susanna Fogel (“The Flight Attendant”). “
“Ponies” follows two women working anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy. After their husbands get killed in the USSR, however, the two become CIA operatives and work to unravel a Cold War conspiracy and mystery. The series is produced by Universal Television and does not have an official release date.
AWARD SHOWS
Kathy Bates will be honored as Television Showperson of the Year at the International Cinematographers Guild Publicists Awards.
Bates will receive the award, which recognizes a person whose television career reflects “showmanship,” at the ceremony Feb. 28 at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills.
“Kathy Bates has consistently captivated audiences with her versatility, depth and the sheer power she brings to every role,” Tim Menke and Sheryl Main, ICG Publicists Awards chairs, said in a statement. “It’s our honor to celebrate her unrivaled career and dedication to her craft.”
Bates, an Oscar winner for her performance in “Misery,” has appeared on television shows “American Horror Story,” “Six Feet Under,” “3rd Rock from the Sun,” “Harry’s Law” and “Disjointed.” A 14-time Emmy nominee, she won two Emmys for “American Horror Story: Coven” and “Two and a Half Men.” Bates recently appeared in “Matlock,” garnering Screen Actors Guild, Critics Choice and Golden Globe nominations.
Bates will join the ranks of previous Television Showperson of the Year honorees, which include Ava DuVernay, Quinta Brunson, Sir Patrick Stewart and Shonda Rhimes.
