Hawaiian Airlines is bringing island vibes to the skies after unveiling its Airbus A330 aircraft decked in a new livery inspired by Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.
The airline has partnered with Disney to celebrate the live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch, which is set to premiere on May 23, 2025.

The A330, which was designed with Lilo’s face in the middle of the fuselage, and the movie title, ‘Lilo & Stitch’ written on the engines, is the first of three aircraft to bear a livery inspired by the Disney movie.
Hawaiian Airlines said the second aircraft, a narrowbody Airbus A321 covered in Stitch’s wildly creative masterpiece, will be revealed next week, and the third design on a Boeing 717 will be revealed in June 2025.
As Hawaii’s airline, Hawaiian said it prides itself on connecting people with ‘aloha’ and providing authentic Hawaiian hospitality that makes guests feel like they’re a part of its family, or ‘ohana.’ Lilo & Stitch also promotes family ties and values, which the airline said was the driving force behind the partnership.
“At Hawaiian Airlines, Hawai‘i is our home, and we consider our guests to be our ‘ohana’,” said Alisa Onishi, Director of Brand and Culture at Hawaiian Airlines.
“Our hope is that all who visit our islands feel welcomed from the moment they step onboard, just as Lilo welcomed Stitch. We’re also excited to have Stitch be our new Travel Pono ambassador through an AR experience and as the star of our in-flight video, where he learns valuable lessons on how to be a mindful visitor,” Onishi added.
