“Industry” Season 4 is continuing to build out its cast with the addition of Kal Penn, Charlie Heaton, and Claire Forlani.
The trio join returning cast members like Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Ken Leung, Sagar Radia, Kit Harington, and Miriam Petche in the HBO/BBC series, as well as new cast members Max Minghella, Kiernan Shipka, Jack Farthing, Toheeb Jimoh, and Amy James-Kelly.
Penn will play Jay Jonah Atterbury, described as the “CEO and founder of payment processor Tender.” Heaton will play Jim Dycker, “a finance journalist.” Finally, Forlani will play Cordelia Hanani-Spyrka, a “corporate PR heavy-hitter.”
Penn first broke out with playing one of the title roles in the “Harold & Kumar” film franchise before going on to star in shows like the medical drama “House” and the political drama “Designated Survivor.” He recently appeared as a guest host on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” and starred in the hit horror film “Smile.” He is repped by UTA, Industry Entertainment, Highlight PR, and Fuller Law.
Heaton currently stars in the megahit Netflix series “Stranger Things,” which is prepping its fifth and final season. Heaton has played Jonathan Byers since Season 1 of the show. He is also known for his roles in films like “The New Mutants,” “No Future,” and “Marrowbone.” He is repped by Gersh, Independent Talent Group, and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
Forlani is known for her roles in films like “Meet Joe Black,” “Basquiat,” and “Boys and Girls.” In television, she has starred in shows like “Departure,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and the “Cruel Intentions” Amazon series. She is repped by Gersh and Mosaic.
Production is currently underway on Season 4 of “Industry.” Mickey Down and Konrad Kay serve as writers, executive producers, and directors for the series. Jane Tranter executive produces along with Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen for Bad Wolf and Rebecca Ferguson for BBC. Isabella Eklöf and Zoé Wittock also direct. Kathleen McCaffrey of Little Gems will be joining as executive producer for the new season. The series is a Bad Wolf Production for HBO/BBC.
