The all-new Wave House El Zonte welcomes travelers to explore the coastal town and its iconic surf breaks with residential accommodations and high-end amenities.
Now officially open, the all-new Wave House is the first high-end condo hotel in the coastal town of El Zonte along El Salvador’s Pacific Ocean coastline, boasting 19 ‘residences’ that cater to travelers seeking spacious accommodations with in-house kitchens, access to sprawling black-sand beaches, locavore restaurants and cafes and world-class surf breaks. Known as “Bitcoin Beach,” El Zonte is located on the Pacific Ocean just one hour from San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.
Wave House residences range in size between studios to three-bedrooms penthouse suites. The studio residences offer travelers ocean views from the balcony or patio, while the two-bedroom residences feature a mix of ocean and mountain views that can be taken in from the terrace, bedroom, living room and kitchen.
The three-bedroom residences offer an added layer of luxury, with indoor-outdoor living spaces and one residence featuring a private pool, and offering either views of the lush mountain landscape or majestic oceanfront.
Each accommodation is fashioned with furniture created by local Salvadoran design studio CHWashington Studio, ensuring it is aligned with the property’s hyperlocal identity. While select items were imported from Spain, other pieces were sourced from local vendors, from textiles designed by Lulu Mena, a local women-owned brand with a mission to empower women in high risk areas of El Salvador, and pottery designed by the Wave House team and crafted by Shicali Ceramics, a non-profit organization employing and creating awareness for those with disabilities.
Further immersing guests in the local culture, the property showcases local artists in the lobby art gallery and has partnered with Bendito Fuego® and other local renowned chefs to offer one-of-a-kind fine dining experiences. Guests can also take advantage of amenities such as an outdoor infinity pool with vistas of the Pacific Ocean, a new collaboration with “Minibar® Miami” cocktail bar to enjoy poolside, a 5,000 square-foot rooftop deck with one-of-a-kind panoramic ocean views and sunsets (capacity for up to 150 people), a rooftop wellness area with jacuzzi and cold plunge, a Biomechanics gym, a physical therapy/massage room, concierge service and personalized experience management, as well as a lounge and workspace.
