BOC Aviation has placed a firm order for 50 Boeing 737-8 aircraft, expanding its 737 MAX portfolio to 215 jets. This deal increases BOC Aviation’s Boeing order book to 139 unfilled orders, reinforcing its position as a major lessor of fuel-efficient aircraft.

With air travel demand growing, lessors are investing in next-generation narrow-body jets to replace older models. The 737-8, known for its fuel efficiency and operational versatility, is a preferred choice for airlines. Boeing highlights the aircraft’s role in reducing costs and supporting fleet expansion.

BOC Aviation currently leases 69 737 MAX jets to over 15 airlines worldwide, with this latest order marking its largest Boeing commitment to date.
