McFarlane Aviation has been named the exclusive distributor of products from The Landing Gear Works (TLGW).
TLGW specializes in the manufacturing of titanium landing gear legs for Cessna 180s and 185s, as well as tail gear springs, tailwheel assemblies, and landing gear components for various other Cessna aircraft.
The company holds STC-PMA approval for OEM replacements and titanium upgrades, according to McFarlane officials, who note the titanium products resist fatigue, retain their spring, are corrosion-resistant, and provide up to 34 pounds of weight savings compared to steel on a Cessna 185.
In addition to Titanium options, TLGW also offers steel landing gear legs.
