“Monopoly Go!” game maker Scopely has launched a global brand campaign for the franchise featuring Will Ferrell, doing the voice of the iconic Mr. Monopoly character, as well as stars Jason Momoa, Keke Palmer and Chris Pratt.
Titled “Friendship Pays,” the event is the beginning of multiple gaming campaigns planned as part of a partnership between Ferrell and Scopely.
Per the description for the “Friendship Pays,” in the first installment of the campaign, “Momoa aka ‘Momoney,’ Palmer aka ‘Keke GoGo,’ and Pratt aka ‘Extra Chrispy’ are immersed into ‘GOville,’ a dream-like town that blends the real world with the fantastical ‘Monopoly Go!’ universe. The group embarks on a journey of action-packed adventure that brings to life the game’s captivating thrills — including the highs of reaping rewards together and the lows of having your fortune stolen — all guided by the legendary mogul, Mr. Monopoly.”
“Monopoly Go!” was first released in April 2023, rising to chart the most successful mobile game launch in history.
A series of original videos for “Friendship Pays” will premiere today and be available to watch on television, streaming, social media and digital platforms. The game is available to download and play here.
