Morgan Wallen and Post Malone Team Back Up for ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back’

In case their last collaboration didn’t do the trick, Morgan Wallen and Post Malone are teaming back up for their second duet “I Ain’t Comin’ Back,” releasing this Friday.

The pair announced the single on Instagram, teasing the single as the follow-up to last year’s massive hit “I Had Some Help.” Malone and Wallen released that song last May ahead of the former’s album “F-1 Trillion,” continuing on to achieve success at the country and pop formats.

Upon release, “I Had Some Help” broke Spotify’s single-day country streaming record and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also went on to become No. 1 on Billboard’s 20 Songs of the Summer chart.

Wallen is currently gearing up for the release of his new album “I’m the Problem,” dropping on May 16. Thus far, he’s put out a handful of singles including “Just in Case” and “I’m a Little Crazy,” with 37 songs expected to make the final album. Earlier today, pop singer Tate McRae posted a jersey featuring Wallen’s initials on it, leading fans to suspect that she’s a featured guest on the record.

Meanwhile, Malone is fresh off of his closing set as a headliner for weekend one of Coachella. During the set, he performed “I Had Some Help” as well as selections from his catalogue including “White Iverson,” “Circles” and “Texas Tea.” Some of his hip-hop tracks were reconfigured with country arrangements, including “Rockstar” and “Psycho.” He’ll head back to the desert this weekend for the second iteration of his Coachella performance.
