CheckMate Aviation, a provider of aviation checklists, has a new owner.
After 32 years under D. Rich Lang and Carol Finnegan-Lang, the business is now owned by the Munsterteiger family, including Barry, his wife Sandra, and his brother Cory.
Founded in 1992, CheckMate Aviation specializes in checklists that prioritize safety, according to the new owners.
“These industry-standard checklists have been relied upon by pilots and aviation professionals worldwide to ensure that all safety protocols are followed in all phases of flight, minimizing risks and enhancing operational efficiency,” company officials said.
“Checklists are the foundation of aviation safety,” said Barry Munsterteiger, CEO and president of CheckMate Aviation, an instrument rated pilot, and Cessna 182 owner. “Our goal is to honor the tradition of safety that our customers have been familiar with for over three decades, while also incorporating new research and design that will further enhance the usability of our checklists.”
