This year’s Glastonbury Festival has officially revealed its headliners: Olivia Rodrigo, the 1975 and Neil Young.
The 1975 will headline Friday, June 27, with Young on duty Saturday, June 28 and Rodrigo closing out the festival on Sunday, June 29. They join Rod Stewart, who was previously announced to be playing the fest’s prestigious legends slot.
The announcement on Thursday morning comes two months after Young said he was boycotting the festival over the BBC’s “corporate control” — and then walked back the statement the next day, saying that he would in fact be playing this year’s edition.
Other big names on the lineup include: Charli XCX, Weezer, Raye, Doechii, Gracie Abrams, The Prodigy, Father John Misty, St. Vincent, Shaboozey, Kneecap, Noah Kahan, Loyle Carner, Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette, Deftones, Wolf Alice, Jorja Smith, Busta Rhymes, Four Tet, Wet Leg, Denzel Curry, English Teacher, Fatboy Slim, Faye Webster, Franz Ferdinand, Inhaler, Lola Young, PinkPantheress, Ezra Collective, Amyl and the Sniffers, Beabadoobee, Beth Gibbons, Brandi Carlile, Caribou, Gary Numan, Japanese Breakfast, Lucy Dacus, TV on the Radio, Nile Rodgers, the Libertines, Djo, Future Islands, Girl in Red, Snow Patrol, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, the Maccabees and Turnstile.
Next year, Glastonbury will take a fallow year to allow Worthy Farm to recover, making the demand to attend this year’s edition even greater than usual. The world’s largest open-air festival, Glastonbury takes place on 1,100 acres of farmland in Pilton, U.K.
More acts will be announced at a later date.
