Paramount+ is looking to cast ten Canadian singles for its upcoming MTV Shore format, “Canada Shore.” The streamer is now casting for the upcoming series, which films in Summer 2025 and is produced by Insight Productions.
According to the casting call, applicants must be between the ages of 19-26 and willing to embody the “Shore” spirit. Those who are selected will “move in with other like-minded people to experience the most unforgettable, unfiltered summer of their lives.” Interested Canadians have until April 30 to complete their submissions.
“Canadians may have a reputation for being polite, but we can be just as feisty, loud, dramatic, and unapologetic as anyone else,” says showrunner and Co-Chief Content Officer at Insight Productions Erin Brock. “And Insight is on the hunt for the wildest, most outrageous young Canadians who want to party with their future chosen family this summer.”
Since its debut on MTV 16 years ago, “Jersey Shore” has inspired 19 spinoffs including recent additions “Aussie Shore” and “Frenchie Shore.”

Paramount+ did not confirm where in Canada the series will film.
This is the first official “Shore” format announced in Canada, however in 2010 individuals attempted to spawn a “Lake Shore” series in Toronto starring eight cast members labeled by their ethnic backgrounds. A controversial online trailer went viral, but networks declined to pick up the series and the project died.
