Press Release: HAECO and Zhuhai Technician College forge partnership

HAECO has announced a partnership with Zhuhai Technician College (ZTC) aimed at developing a robust talent pipeline for the aviation industry in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). This collaboration is designed to enhance MRO capabilities and optimize existing aviation training resources within the region.

Through this partnership, HAECO and ZTC will focus on several key initiatives. In the short term, selected existing HAECO training courses will be repositioned at ZTC to maximize resource efficiency. These courses will cover essential skills including tool usage, basic craftsmanship, sheet metal work, avionics fundamentals, and safety protocols.

In the medium term, the two parties will work together to establish HAECO-branded aviation and maintenance-related courses at ZTC, specifically targeting ZTC students. This initiative aims to equip the next generation of aviation professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the industry.

Looking ahead to long-term cooperation, the partnership will explore the feasibility of establishing a dedicated aviation maintenance training institution at ZTC’s facility.

“This partnership with Zhuhai Technician College represents a significant milestone in our commitment to cultivating aviation talent within the Greater Bay Area,” said Summit Chan, Group Director of Corporate Development at HAECO Group.
