The entrance of Royal Jordanian onto the Amman to Washington route will see the carrier as the sole airline offering non-stop services between the two cities. United Airlines operated on the route until August 2024, when it took the decision to pull off serving Jordan directly from Washington, leaving the route without service until next year .
