Sabrina Carpenter Shares Video for New Song “Manchild”: Watch

Sabrina Carpenter has shared her first proper single of 2025. Carpenter co-wrote “Manchild” alongside frequent collaborator Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff, with Antonoff also handling production duties. The song features such withering couplets as “Did you just say you’re finished? Didn’t know we started/It’s all so familiar, baby, what do you call it/Stupid, or is it slow?” Listen to “Manchild” below.

In February, Carpenter released a deluxe version of her 2024 album Short n’ Sweet. She took home two trophies at this year’s Grammy Awards—Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet and Best Pop Solo Performance for its lead single “Espresso”—where she also performed a medley of “Espresso” and the Antonoff-produced “Please Please Please.”

Carpenter will take the stage at Primavera Sound Barcelona tomorrow evening, June 6. The pop singer is also set to headline at Austin City Limits and Lollapalloza later this summer, after which she’ll kick off another run of North American tour dates supported by Ravyn Lenae, Amber Mark, and Olivia Dean.
