Shakira, Don Omar, Peso Pluma, Grupo Frontera and more are slated to play Chicago’s up-and-coming Latin music festival, Sueños. The weekend event will return to Grant Park, in the heart of Downtown Chicago, on May 24 and 25.
Argentine pop star Maria Becerra is set to play on Saturday with Shakira as a headliner. Peso Pluma is billed as a special performer with a lineup that also includes Nsqk, El Alfa, Oscar Mayadon, Arcangel, Dei V, El Malilla, DJ Luian, Caleb Calloway, Regaetonlandia, Chan and DJ Fredy Fresco.
Tejano stars Grupo Frontera will be performing a special set on Sunday, with Don Omar as a headliner, and additional sets from Jhayco, Tito Double P, Omar Courtz, Wisin, Kapo, Deorro, Bellakath, Gonzy, LegallyRxx, Sorry Pap, Victor Cardenas, Dynamiqo and 3BallMty.
Passes for Sueños are available to purchase starting Feb. 6 at 12 p.m. CT. Packages include GA, GA+, VIP, and ultra-VIP El Sueño.
Sueños has been active for four years and is quickly becoming an institution in the Chicago community. The Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners in July unanimously approved a contract that will see Sueños return to Grant Park for the next five years, with an option to extend the deal for five more.
