After what felt like a never-ending wait for the second season, stalled by Hollywood strikes and on-set drama, “Severance” has done nothing less but deliver for its newest installment. The show reached a fever pitch with its hyped fourth episode, which features the season’s biggest twist yet — and it didn’t take long for Lumon-heads to open up Adobe Illustrator to make fan-made merch for their favorite show, featuring stills from multiple episodes of Season 2.
Some of the most popular “Severance” merch to go viral online are these retro graphic tees, each dedicated to a different character and their respective tagline: Mr. Milchik (Tramell Tillman) in the matching white fur hat and coat he dons in “Woe’s Hallow”; Helly (Britt Lower) in workwear attire, her Lumon badge hanging off her neck; Irving (John Turturro), the somber look he carries throughout the season glued to his face.
Other DIY pieces include this “Defiant Jazz” tee, featuring a retro graphic of Milchik and Helly from the iconic dance party scene at the end of Season 1, and more basic Lumon corporate attire like this Microdata Refinement shirt.
“Severance” Season 2 premiered last month to rave reviews from critics and audience members alike. New episodes have continued to drop every Thursday night, and will conclude with its tenth and final episode on March 20. In her review, Variety TV critic Alison Herman wrote that “‘Severance’ lives or dies not by an airtight, detail-dense story, but by sustaining an eerie sense of unreality. Season 2 fulfills this sine qua non with deceptive ease. Real-time viewers have had their patience strained; future binge-watchers will barely notice a blip.”
