A new crew of White Lotus residents make their introduction in the highly anticipated third season of Mike White’s hit HBO show, this time on the picturesque island of Koh Samui in Thailand. With the updated resort location and its very stylish visitors comes a whole season’s worth of luxe swimsuits.
For Season 3, costume designer Alex Bovaird pulled pieces from global luxury houses, local designers and vintage racks. From Kate’s Ulla Johnson one-pieces to Chloe’s crochet cover-up, there is no shortage of resort wear in the newest season from which to pull inspiration for your next summer getaway. But if you aren’t a yacht girl with unlimited access to the Amex of a “middle aged weirdo,” in the words of Parker Posey’s Victoria Ratcliffe, you can find more affordable options in Bovaird’s exclusive “White Lotus” resort collection for H&M.

For Kate, one-third of the third season’s fakest female trio, Bovaird turned to a mix of international artists and American fashion houses. Standouts include the floral-patterned bikini from the boutique brand Juilett that she wears in Episode 6, followed by a handmade bralette top from Columbian brand Waimari. Later, she shows off her American pride with a crisscross one-piece from the New York-based designer Ulla Johnson.

Chelsea’s (Aimee Lou Wood’s) high-low ensembles are some of the best in the season, with the luxury brands she wears obviously made possible by her generous, if not emotionally distant, boyfriend Rick (Walter Goggins). Bovaird makes it clear that the White Lotus residents don’t do “quiet luxury.” Case in point: Jaclyn’s logo-heavy ensembles, starting with that double G bucket hat from Gucci. The $1,000 accessory may shade her from the sun, but it’s also her message to her best friends that they can’t afford the vacation she’s paying for. For her swimwear, Bovaird chose more understated pieces, including this gorgeous asymmetric one-piece from Eres and playful striped bikini from SAME.
