“The White Lotus” season 3 was parodied on this week’s ‘SNL‘ in a pre-taped segment that spoofed President Trump’s inner circle in the wake of his tariffs.
Trump, portrayed by James Austin Johnson, stands in for Jason Isaacs’ Timothy Ratliff, who faces similarly bad headlines after his tariff plan sunk the stock market this week. The Trump family matches up well with the Ratliffs, as Chloe Fineman portrays Melania by way of Parker Posey’s memorable southern accent. Mikey Day reprises his role as Don Jr., who unexpectedly mirrors Saxon’s shocking sex scene — but this time, he’s satisfying Tiger Woods (Kenan Thompson), who is currently dating his ex-wife.
Cameos beyond the main cast arrive fast and furious, as Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Ivanka. former cast member Alex Moffat reprised his role as the dimwitted Eric, and Beck Bennett, another former cast member, portrayed Vladimir Putin once again.
Host Jon Hamm was Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who took on the role of Rick, with Sarah Sherman portraying Aimee Lou Wood’s Chelsea. The episode’s musical guest, Lizzo, portrayed “White Lotus” character Belinda for a clever stock market joke.
Furthermore, real-life “Lotus” cast member Jon Gries joined in on the fun for a quick cameo as Greg.
As for the “three women” storyline, Ashley Padilla and Heidi Gardner play Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem, respectively, while Marcello Hernández takes on Marco Rubio.
It’s no surprise “White Lotus” got the ‘SNL’ treatment this week, given that the bloody ending was watercooler fodder for plenty of days afterward and received series-high ratings.
