Sporty’s has acquired PilotWorkshops, which specializes in pilot proficiency training.
“This partnership unites two organizations with a shared mission: To make flying safer, easier, and more enjoyable for pilots everywhere,” Sporty’s officials said.
Since 2005, PilotWorkshops has provided online training courses and “Pilot-Friendly” manuals that share practical lessons for GA pilots, while its VFR and IFR Mastery series has helped pilots achieve a higher standard of safety and excellence, according to Sporty’s officials. More than 200,000 pilots have used these training tools, officials add.
