Sporty’s has released version 2.0 of its Instructor Guide to FAA Endorsements, developed in partnership with the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI).
This free, digital reference is designed to help flight instructors navigate the most common FAA endorsements, according to Sporty’s officials.
Organized in a sequence that follows a student’s progression from first flight through commercial pilot certification, this guide includes templates for endorsements related to first solos, written test sign-offs, practical tests, flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, and more.
It also includes guidance for CFIs accepting student pilot applications via the FAA’s Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA).
New in Version 2.0:
CFI signature lines now include recency of experience in addition to expiration dates
WINGS program endorsement templates have been added for both individual activity and phase completion
New CFI training endorsements have been added for instructors working with CFI applicants.
Flight instructors can access the Instructor Guide to FAA Endorsements, at no cost, through Sporty’s CFI Portal at Sportys.com/CFI. Registration is free and allows complimentary access to a suite of CFI tools and resources including:
Sporty’s library of online pilot training courses with student progress sharing
