Yvette Nicole Brown is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of “Suits LA,” Variety has learned exclusively.
Brown will play a version of herself in the episode airing May 4 on NBC, streaming the following day on Peacock. The official description for the episode states:
“Ted (Stephen Amell) must deliver on a request from client Patton Oswalt (as himself). Amanda (Maggie Grace) turns to Erica (Lex Scott Davis) for help defending a teen star accused of attacking her dad. Stuart’s (Josh McDermitt) accident sends him into a spiral. In the past, Ted and Eddie (Carson A. Egan) come to LA for Stuart’s bachelor party.”
Brown previously starred in the popular NBC sitcom “Community,” with a movie followup to the show currently in the works at Peacock. Brown has also starred in shows like “The Mayor,” “Drake and Josh,” ”The Odd Couple,” “Big Shot” and “Act Your Age.” Her film credits include “Avengers: Endgame,” “Inside Out 2,” “Disenchanted,” and “Tropic Thunder.”

“Suits LA” is currently awaiting word on if it will return for a second season, along with fellow freshman shows “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” “Brilliant Minds,” and “The Hunting Party.” A decision is expected in the coming weeks.
“Suits” creator Aaron Korsh created “Suits LA” and serves as executive producer. David Bartis, Doug Liman, Gene Klein, Anton Cropper, Genevieve Sparling, Rick Muirragui and Jon Cowan also executive produce. UCP is the studio.
