Situated within the historic former American Embassy at Grosvenor Square, The Chancery Rosewood is now accepting reservations for stays starting from 1 September, 2025. The striking Grade II listed building developed by Qatari Diar Europe LLP, balances rich history with contemporary luxury, showcasing architectural restoration led by British architect Sir David Chipperfield, with suites and communal spaces designed by French interiors architect Joseph Dirand.
An all-suite property, The Chancery Rosewood delivers Rosewood’s signature residential atmosphere through 144 thoughtfully designed, spacious suites that celebrate craftsmanship and the properties storied past. Many of the suites boast views over the neighbourhood, including Grosvenor Square, Mayfair and beyond.
The property will be home to eight restaurants and bars, including the first European outpost of New York’s Carbone and a new Asian concept restaurant. Eagle Bar, taking its name from the newly restored 10-foot high, 30-foot wide golden Eagle that was placed on the building when it first opened in 1960, will sit proudly on the seventh floor offering a spectacular rooftop bar experience with panoramic views across London.
A state of the art ballroom will provide a sophisticated space for events with a capacity of up to 750 guests, hidden beneath the property. An expansive subterranean wellness facility, Asaya® Spa will feature a fitness centre, 25M indoor swimming pool and five treatment rooms. The property will also feature luxury retail outlets, to be announced, and several additional meeting and events spaces.
The Chancery Rosewood will offer hyper-personalised service, continuing Rosewood’s legacy of curating unique and culturally enriching stays. Injecting fresh energy into London’s social scene, it will introduce a dynamic cultural programme, making it a vibrant destination for both local and global tastemakers.
