Throwing Muses have announced a new album: Moonlight Concessions arrives March 14 via Fire. The follow-up to 2020’s Sun Racket was produced by Kristin Hersh and is billed, in a press release, as a “back to basics” record for the indie-rock band. Throwing Muses are previewing the album with the new song “Summer of Love,” which also opens the album. Check out the single’s music video below.
On May 12, Throwing Muses will head out on a European tour, starting in Oslo, Norway. They plan to stay on the road through the summer, performing in cities like Berlin, Galway, London, Paris, and Munich before concluding the run, on August 29, in Salisbury, England. Find their complete list of tour dates below.
Midnight Concessions is Throwing Muses’ 11th studio album. Read the Sunday Review of the band’s first album, 1986’s Throwing Muses.
