Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has announced a significant restructuring of the National Health Service (NHS) in England by abolishing NHS England and integrating its functions into the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). This move aims to reduce bureaucracy, cut approximately 10,000 jobs, and redirect funds to frontline healthcare services.
