‘Wicked’ From Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and More

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will bring Oz to the Oscars, as the “Wicked” duo are set to perform live during Hollywood’s biggest night.

Lisa, from this season of “The White Lotus” and the band Blackpink, will also perform, as well as Doja Cat, Queen Latifah and Raye. The specifics of their performances are unknown.

The 97th Oscars will also feature a special appearance from the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Monday morning.

Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Academy Awards will air live on ABC and stream live on Hulu on March 2 at 4 p.m. PT. The official red carpet show will begin at 3:30 p.m. PT.

In a break from tradition, this year’s ceremony will not include live performances of the best original song nominees. Instead, the show will spotlight the songwriters through personal reflections and behind-the-scenes insights from the creative teams behind the music, as Variety‘s Clayton Davis reported in January.

The Oscars also plan to “honor Los Angeles as a city of dreams, showcasing its beauty and resilience” in the wake of the horrific wildfires that devastated the city in January.

Nick Offerman will serve as the announcer of the 2025 Academy Awards, which will also feature an A-list lineup of presenters, including last year’s acting winners Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr. and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Other presenters include Joe Alwyn, Ana de Armas, Halle Berry, Sterling K. Brown, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Lily-Rose Depp, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Connie Nielsen, Amy Poehler, June Squibb, Ben Stiller, Oprah Winfrey and Bowen Yang.
